NetBeans: A powerful addition to your JavaScript toolbox

There are many tools out there for working with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In this talk, you’ll see a demo of the 100% free and open source NetBeans, a very small and light piece of software for working with all the popular JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular, all the testing frameworks, such as Mocha and Protractor, as well as mobile development via Cordova and Android.

Geertjan has worked on the NetBeans team, based in Prague, since 2004. He currently lives and works in Amsterdam.

Developing for TV platforms

Pieter Siekerman will be speaking about developing apps for TV platforms such as Smart TVs, game consoles, set-top boxes, Chromecast, etc. He will give an overview of the various platforms and explain what you will encounter when developing apps for them in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
