As the Senior Director Demand Generation, you will be the driving force behind pipeline generation by creating and rolling out high-impact marketing campaigns. The campaigns by your teams will drive solution awareness and engagement to the full extent. As a sound professional, you know exactly what is needed in order to identify interest and buying intent for the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform (EBP). You will lead modern multi-disciplinary

scrum teams with the best marketing professionals and work closely with other marketing colleagues in brand building, marketing operations, and field marketing. You know how to work with creatives, content marketers, product marketers and digital marketers to come up with the best-defined way to potential customers throughout their buying journey. impact by touching our relevant audiences at different places, with different means with an outside in view. Since you have a global scope you need to make sure you continuously align with all your international regional stakeholders. They are heavily dependent on the always-on global campaigns that come from your teams. What you'll do

1. Develop and implement a global demand generation strategy:

  • Define the overall demand generation strategy, including target audience segmentation, messaging, and marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and ensure a cohesive customer journey.
  • Set goals and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of demand generation efforts and optimize campaigns accordingly.

2. Lead and manage the demand generation team:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the team.

3. Drive integrated marketing campaigns:

  • Create, produce and localize persona-based marketing campaigns
  • Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns to create and capture demand (touchpoints/high quality leads)
  • Leverage various marketing channels such as digital advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, events, and partnerships.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve results.

4. Marketing technology and automation:

  • Evaluate and implement marketing technologies, tools, and platforms to streamline demand generation processes and enhance campaign effectiveness in collaboration with Marketing Operations
  • Utilize marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM systems (Salesforce) to manage leads,track campaign performance, and nurture prospects.

5. Collaboration and alignment:

  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure demand generation efforts are aligned with sales goals and support revenue targets.
  • Work with the brand-building team to develop compelling and targeted messaging and content assets in line with our company narratives
  • Collaborate with field marketing teams to further optimize the local performance and global campaigns

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in demand generation or related roles, preferably in a global B2B technology company.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation strategies, tactics, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing technologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the technology industry is highly desirable.
