Associate Bootcamp Lead

Deliver our cutting-edge Bootcamp, and strengthen new developer squads with their first hands-on project. Guide and coach all squad roles through the Adopt & Connect and Build phases. Build learners’ hands-on experience with Backbase product implementation, the Backbase Way of Working, and Backbase Engineering best practice.

What you'll do

As part of our team, you'll help Backbase employees, partners, and customers master the implementation of Backbase banking solutions. We value collaboration, trust, authenticity, curiosity, and craftsmanship. You’ll travel globally to deliver monthly bootcamps, guiding multi-disciplinary squads through hands-on training and ensuring they gain the knowledge and skills needed for success.

• Deliver monthly bootcamps worldwide, preparing all materials and artefacts in advance.
• Manage and support groups of 12-20 participants, facilitating scrum ceremonies and resolving roadblocks.
• Collaborate with the Lead Trainer to manage customer and partner expectations.
• Provide expert consulting and communication skills, with knowledge in backend, web, mobile, QA, and architecture basics.

Deliver consistent, high-quality training, adapting as needed while maintaining focus on the end goals.

• Update and maintain Bootcamp content to align with business outcomes and product changes.
• Record all Bootcamps, attendees, and results in the Academy Learning Management System.

Who you are

As an essential part of our team, you'll help developer squads turn their learning into practical experience. To succeed, you'll need expertise in at least one technical domain and the ability to coach across various roles. You'll guide teams through intensive training sessions, helping them achieve complex goals while providing constructive feedback and mentorship.

• Expertise in at least one technical domain (Frontend, Backend, iOS, Android, etc.).
• Ability to coach and mentor across multiple roles and disciplines.
• Able to deliver 2 weeks (10 days) of classroom training.
• Strong group management skills, driving teams toward complex goals within limited time.
• Keen eye for individual strengths and the ability to provide targeted support.
• Skilled in delivering constructive feedback and guiding teams to success.
• High-energy, fast learner with a self-starting attitude, and experience in long-form developer training or bootcamps is a plus.
