Senior Partner & Alliances Manager
As a Senior Partner Manager, you are responsible for contributing to the growth of the Backbase partner & alliance ecosystem and business within the North America region. Your challenge is supporting the development of a Partner led Pipeline, helping to convert license deals where Partners are involved and supporting the knowledge of Backbase within Partners to help customers continuously succeed. You have experience in scaling a business through a high calibrate and quality partner and alliance ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Work closely with Backbase Partner and Sales Management to ensure partner coverage in North America by growing existing partner relationships and creating new ones across Strategy and Technology Consulting firms, Systems Integrators (SIs), Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
- Cultivate future projects and identify new opportunities for Backbase in the partners’ client base; support strategy and pipeline management with regional sales, competency and delivery leaders at partner organizations.
- Facilitate partner and Backbase sales team alignment, target account nomination, and opportunity planning to drive joint license (Backbase) & cloud/services (partner) wins; achieve license targets as agreed with respective partners.
- Help partners build sales capacity and capability on the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform; drive training and certification within the partner ecosystem in close cooperation with Backbase Academy, including identification of delivery and competence needs and alignment with the Backbase Customer Success Team.
- Drive market development with partners through events and thought leadership content (working closely with the Backbase Marketing team), and by helping partners develop assets and accelerators around the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform.
Who you are
- You have approximately eight (8) to twelve (12) years of overall experience, including a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Background in consulting services and/or enterprise software
- You have exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written (English).
- You have exposure to and understanding of multiple countries and business cultures in the region, and are ready to travel as needed.
- Local language proficiency to business level required within your region / territory
