What you'll do

As a Business Analyst working with the Business Banking product teams, you are responsible for the definition and delivery of functional requirements, including prioritization, of our products.

You will be working together with multiple product teams building business payments solutions tailored to various business segments, ranging from sole traders to corporate clients. Together with these teams, you are responsible for delivering components that accelerate the development of web and mobile banking apps for banks of all sizes, spread across the world. Your teams consist of highly skilled colleagues, including Web engineers, iOS/Android engineers, Backend engineers, QA engineers, UX designers and a Product Manager.

Balance between customer demands, market opportunities and technical innovations. Keep eye on the upcoming payment regulations and its impact in general.

Convert this balance into (user) stories that can be designed and developed by UX designers and software engineers working in your teams.

Make sure the resulting products meet the requirements you have defined.

Working very closely with external stakeholders (e.g. customers and system integrators) and internal stakeholders (e.g., customer success teams, sales and other product teams) to collect data allowing you to objectively decide if requested functionality should make it into our products.

Creating market maps, competitor matrixes and detailed analysis to drive the future of the components of your teams.

Who you are

Do you think you would be a great addition to the Business Banking team; bringing your creativity, passion and experience with you? Then please note the requirements below.

You have more than 5 years of professional experience working as a business analyst in banking or other financial services.

You have prior experience in the payments domain, and can talk about different payment schemes such as FedWire, US ACH, SEPA, SWIFT. Familiarity with the related messaging standards is a big plus.

You are familiar with APIs, and can talk comfortably from an end to end product perspective.

You are passionate about working on digital financial products that make people happy.

You are a storyteller, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can convey complex information clearly to a variety of audiences.

Absolutely important that you are a self-starter, you can take initiative without waiting for direction.

You can translate customer opportunities and pain points into detailed product requirements and have the execution skills to deliver quality output with your teams.

You are proficient in the different business analysis tools and methodologies.

You are used to working and communicating as part of a high-performing Agile team;
