As an iOS Engineer on the Backbase Showcase team, you will drive the development of our showcase product, demonstrating the capabilities of Backbase’s digital banking platform. You'll follow and improve our way of working, enforce best practices, and contribute to building a strong engineering culture. Your mission is to help deliver the best digital banking experience for clients through our showcase.

• Deliver end-to-end solutions, from concept to implementation, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code that performs well.
• Handle complex business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable technical designs.
• Participate in all phases of the product life cycle: requirements gathering, development, testing, documentation, and product support.
• Actively collaborate with colleagues, customers, and partners to ensure seamless product adoption and usage.
• Uphold best practices in security, performance, and continuous improvement, helping to build an outstanding engineering culture.

Who you are

You’re a driven iOS Engineer with a strong passion for building top-tier mobile products. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy translating complex business challenges into elegant technical solutions. • You have 4+ years of relevant iOS development experience, preferably with complex applications.
• You excel in Agile environments and are skilled at turning business requirements into technical designs.
• You have experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or MVP and are comfortable with CI/CD tools like Bitrise and GitHub Actions.
• You have a strong engineering mindset, placing high importance on clean code, proper documentation, and modern software practices.
• You enjoy mentoring peers and sharing best practices, with an interest in contributing to a dynamic, fast-growing company.
