Senior Accounting Officer

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you are responsible for the review and booking of journal entries as well as balance sheet and profit and loss review. You run accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for the entities and prepare global monthly consolidation ensuring elimination and reconciliation of inter-company balances. You perform pre/post-closing journal entries, including reconciliations in the general ledger. It is your responsibility to drive continuous system and process improvements with close cooperation with global colleagues.

• 5+ years of relevant job experience;
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (Masters preferred);
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite;
• Excellent domain of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel;
• SaaS Experience;
• ACA/CPA/ Big-4;
• Solid knowledge of IFRS;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Experience with Payroll;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written);
• Tax specifics: good experience of Dutch corporate income tax, VAT, international taxes including WHT;
• Revenue specifics: 7+ years of relevant job experience, SaaS, Big 4, ACA, CPA or Master’s degree in accounting or accounting-related field, good understanding of R2R processes, revenue recognition.
